Post-Platform Digital Publishing Workshop Announcement

Post-Platform Digital Publishing Toolkit is an iterative project by Well Gedacht Publishing exploring how to overcome the limitations of digital publishing on social media and other online platforms, and advocates for self-hosted infrastructures and practices for artists and artists' book publishers. A wiki was made during the project, that builds a basis for workshops and other upcoming formats. Via web2print scripts, wiki is being transformed into print format unregularly. The first edition of the print publication was released by Well Gedacht Publishing in June 2025.

The workshop "publishing style" by the research group Declarations (Doriane Timmermans, Clara Pasteau, Vinciane Daheron) hosted by Well Gedacht Publishing includes experimentations of practicing CSS style as a way of publishing. Find out more about it here.

The workshop "self-hosting and -publishing" by Well Gedacht Publishing explores unconventional ways of making a website and creating .xml (RSS) files for a DIY-made website and hosting these on a simple home server. Find some remnants from the workshop here.
